What are HubAds?

HubAds are a new, patented design of Hub-cap specifically engineered not to rotate with the wheel, hence allowing advertising messages to remain upright and legible when the vehicle is in motion.

Hubcap advertising was developed in the USA and has proved an amazingly successful advertising medium with guaranteed impact. Q How do they work?

A Very simply, each HubAd hub-cap has a centrally positioned bearing and a counter-weight at the bottom. This in turn gives the impression that the wheel is not turning despite the vehicle’s motion.

Q Are they sold with graphics on them?

A HubAds can be supplied either with or without graphics. We can create or reproduce your graphics for you; print them onto vinyl and supply HubAds directly to you; ready to be fitted onto your vehicles.

Q How much do they cost?

A A set of 4 HubAds hub-caps costs £250 (plus VAT). A set of 4 decals with graphics: from £25 to £60 per set of 4.

Technical Information

The ABS-Line HubAds are lightweight discs produced of an automotive ABS Polymer. The ABS-Line is mainly used for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. These hubcaps are 1-part products and very cost efficient. They can be very easily mounted, however only to steel wheels (ie not Alloy wheels).

Material

The ABS-Line disc is made of ABS Polymer. This special and durable automotive polymer is used in the automotive industry. They are silver painted and has a transparent protection coating.

Mounting

The ABS-Line clicks on steel wheels like normal hubcaps. The improved stainless steel retention ring guarantees a firm mounting.

Packing

The ABS-Line are packed in carton boxes per set of 4. Each set comes with an instruction sheet. Also valve extensions are enclosed.

Applications

The ABS-Line can be used on steel (non-alloy) wheels.

The US based manufacturers has developed several ABS-Line specials. 15 inch extended for Mercedes Sprinter, Volkswagen LT and some Ford Transits, Additional we can supply you with more specials (e.g. laundry machine for detergent manufacturers, roulette tables for casino’s, etc). With our Product Design Engineering capabilities, we can bespoke any of our products for you or your clients. One agency wanted us to design a working roulette wheel on HubAds; another required a “washing machine”, complete with water, behind a perspex screen for a laundry product.

Alloy – Wheel hub-ads are now also available!

The Alloy-Line is a lightweight system especially ideal for alloy or design wheels. Alloy-Line Hub Ads have a base part (to mount to the wheel) and a faceplate that holds the decal. The faceplate is mounted with security bolts.

The Alloy-Line hub caps have an enlarged faceplate diameter and an “easy-off easy-on” system so that changing a campaign is a matter of minutes and causes no idle time for the vehicle. This makes the Alloy-Line ideal for taxi advertising campaigns.

The Alloy-Line Hub-Caps are mainly used on passenger cars and light commercial vehicle and gives maximum exposure thanks to the enlarged faceplate diameter.

For Alloy-Line easy to mount and easy to change faceplates anti-theft security mounting do not influence driving behavior TüV certified and approved.

The Alloy-Line Hub-caps are available in the sizes 12-13-14-15-16-17-18 inch.

Material

The Alloy-Line hub-cap is a modular system. The base part is made of high quality aluminum and stainless steel. The faceplate is made of either aluminum or an ABS automotive polymer.

Mounting

The base part is mounted to the wheel bolts using a unique clamping system. The faceplate is mounted to the base part with security bolts for theft protection. A special tool comes with every set and must by carried in the vehicle.

Bearing

All the bearings that are used in our alloy hub caps are of extreme high quality and absolutely maintenance free. These automotive bearings are produced by top-manufacturers.

Packing

The Alloy-Line hub-caps are packed in carton boxes per set of 4. Each set comes with an instruction sheet. Also special tools are enclosed.
